Aldershot Town fell to a disappointing defeat at the hands of Barnet on Saturday, with the Bees scoring all 3 goals in the second half.

Stephen Henderson started in goal ahead of Mikael Jaimez-Ruiz, Morgan came in for Jackson to partner Grant up front and Chalmers came in for Donnelly in midfield.

After an even first half the deadlock was broken 10 minutes after the break when Micah Hyde headed home from 6 yards to put the home side in front.

8 minutes later Barnet doubled their lead after Louie Soares gave away possession on the edge of the box, which allowed O’Flynn to break through and score.

The home side added a third on 85 minutes when Henderson failed to deal with a cross that was tapped home by O’Flynn for his second goal of the game.

It was certainly an afternoon to forget for the Shots, who are on the road again on Friday night when they meet Northampton.
