Goals from Andy Proctor and Billy Kee either side of an Andy Sandell penalty gave Accrington Stanley all 3 points against Aldershot on Tuesday night.

Accrington dominated the first half and took a deserved lead after half an hour when Andy Proctor latched on to a through ball to slide the ball past Ruiz.

Stanley continued to dominate and were unfortunate not to extend their lead.

Just before the hour mark The Shots were given a way back into the match as Phil Edwards was penalised for handball and the ref pointed to the spot. Andy Sandell converted the spot kick to get his 2nd goal in as many matches.

Aldershot failed to build on this however and with 15 minutes left substitute Billy Kee ran through to score the winning goal for the home side.

It was a deserved win for Stanley who were the better team throughout. Aldershot need to bounce back on Saturday when Grimsby Town visit the Rec.
