Andy Scott has spoken of Aldershot’s financial worries and admitted his plans for the new season are on hold until the future of the club is resolved.

Speaking to the BBC after the announcement that Aldershot entered administration following £1million woth of debt, the gaffer said.

‘There is a lot of work to be done. It’s a case for the administrators to work out what the best deal is for the football club. I am unable to make decisions on bringing in players and it’s making it difficult as no players wants to come to a club in administration.’

As for himself he says his position remains the same as he has not had discussions on his future, so he’s going to keep going as he has done.

The main rush of course is to have everything in place by June 8th so the club don’t start the new season with a 10 point deduction.
