Aldershot Seeking Restructuring Advice

It has been confirmed by the board of Aldershot that they are seeking advice on how to restructure our financial liabilities.

The statement is carried by the BBC.

‘We understand the concern that has emanated from what has been an uncertain period for the football club and for the importance of a conclusion to the situation soon. The board remains committed to securing the long term future of Aldershot Town Football Club.’

However, with news that the players haven’t been paid again, this didn’t go over well with Ben Herd who commented.

‘We are not in the upper echelons where people have vast amounts of money. This is out job. We understand we haven’t been good enough, but off the pitch, this is food on our table money. Lads will struggle. I was due to go out with one of the lads for something to eat, but he can’t go out because he hasn’t been paid.’
