Aldershot Town midfielder Scott Donnelly has said that he’d like to play for Wycombe boss Gary Waddock again, after the League One side had a £15k bid rejected.

He’s out of contract in the summer and has expressed a desire to play at a higher level and under Gary Waddock for a 3rd time, after he worked with him at QPR and Aldershot Town.

The midfielder has scored 8 times in the league this season and has been a transfer target for Wycombe, with Donnelly saying in the Bucks Free Press “He is the best manager I have played under. He`s had me since I was a youth team player at QPR and he brought me here and I feel that I have played my best football under him.’

With his contract up in the summer it’s likely that if he doesn’t leave in this transfer window he’ll leave on a free at the end of the season. The ball seems to be in Aldershot’s court, as they weigh up having the player for the rest of the season or a small transfer fee now.
