Scott Ahead Of Port Vale

Andy Scott knows Port Vale are going to be a seriously tough test for us on Tuesday, but he’s confident we can overcome them.

Speaking to the Official Site Scott said.

‘Port Vale had a great victory on Friday night and are a strong outfit who can score goals. We have a tough game on our hands. We will go there and play our way and it’s an opportunity to pick up points.’

Scott adds that results were favourable for us at the weekend, and things are nice and tight down the bottom so we have every chance of capitalising on that with our games in hand.

‘You can’t keep predicting what other teams are going to do and I believe this year could be the year that you need the most points ever to stay up. There is no point thinking you need two wins, eight points…you have just got to try to get as many points as you can.’
