Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Gary Waddock’s Wycombe Wanderers and insists he’s happy at the Rec.

When doing an interview for the club’s offical website, Morgan was asked if he’d be tempted to join Waddock and Kuhl at Wycombe and the striker answered ‘No, definitely not!’

He claimed that it’d be a strange career move, considering that the Chair Boys are just six places above the Shots in the league system. He continued ‘why would I want to go to Wycombe when they’re in the relegation zone in League One when we’re in the play off spots and doing so well?’

This was the question on everyone’s lips when ex-manager Gary Waddock was linked with the League One strugglers.

Interest is thought to have been high in Morgan during the last transer window, with League One Swindon Town having a big turned down.

Aldershot’s record signing has scored 7 goals in 14 games so far this season.
