Aldershot Town are on the road for the second time in five days as they travel north to Sincil Bank to face Lincoln City, as they look to get back to winning ways.

On-loan Spurs midfielder Dean Parrett should return to the Shots starting line up, after missing Tuesday’s trip to Torquay through illness. John Halls was also missing at Plainmoor, but following a scan he remains a doubt.

Saturday sees new Imps manager Chris Sutton take charge for the first time. The new manager will want his team to end a four match losing streak infront of their own fans on Saturday and on-loan Fulham defender Adam Watts is expected to feature.

The Shots come into this game on a seven match unbeaten run which has seen the Hampshire outfit currently in 7th place after 10 games. Lincoln have had a more challenging start to the campaign, and after losing four games on the spin find themselves 22nd in the table. This lead to a change of manager following their 2-0 defeat at Bury and new boss Chris Sutton, who watched Tuesday’s defeat against Notts County from the stands, will take charge for the first time. They will be hoping that the ‘new manager effect’ will help turn around their current plight as the ex-Celtic striker looks to get their season kick-started.

Aldershot picked up six points against Lincoln last season, winning both matches between the sides 2-0. Goals from Andy Sandell and Scott Davies secured the win at home, while John Grant and Davies were on the score sheet at Sincil Bank on the final day of last season.
