Andy Scott has said we simply didn’t do enough in the game against Wycombe and he thought our defending was atrocious.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 2-1 loss Scott said it was a deeply disappointing performance given how we performed against Port Vale but he highlighted the problems we have in scoring goals as being a big kicker for today.

‘If you defend like that you will concede goals. I don’t think that we did enough in the first half but it’s the little things that add up and cost you goals. We didn’t play with the same organisation (as Port Vale) but we are not scoring goals when we should be. We were not ruthless enough.’

He called the second goal ‘very soft’ as he hoped that when we got ourselves back into the game we would push on and go for the win, when all the game really showed was why we are bottom of the league.

He ends the interview by saying that the fans were again fantastic and they certainly deserved more than that for their efforts during the game.
