Dean Holdsworth has said he is a little disappointed not to take all three points today, but with how the game panned out a point is pleasing.

Speaking to the Official Site after the 1-1 draw against Cheltenham, Holdsworth explained that it was a shame we didn’t take maximum points, but considering we saw out the game with 10 men he feels we should be content with the draw.

‘We have to be happy with a point. It’s about that bit of excellence and Danny took his goal really well, we opened them up on two or three occasions and had some good possession. It’s a tough place to come.’

Holdsworth added that following the sending off he was pleased with the character shown by the lads to not let Cheltenham steal the victory.

‘We showed character and resilience in difficult circumstances. It was a big test, they have given a massive shift in this match.’

The gaffer goes on to say we now focus on Tuesday’s game against Torquay where we will be looking for the first home win of back to back victories on our turf.
