After picking up his first point as Shots caretaker manager, Jason Dodd has credited the players.

He told the official website that the whole team were ‘terrific’ and ‘We have come to a really difficult place and got a point but the lads are disappointed that they have not won the match.’

Following back to back defeats the ex-Southampton defender recognised the importance of today’s result and getting a good result against Bury next week. He said ‘It was great to get the first clean sheet of the season too. Overall the players can be pleased with their day’s work and this is something we can build on for the Bury FA Cup tie next week.’
