Aldershot Town boss Kevin Dillon was full of frustration following the postponement of Saturday’s scheduled League Two clash at home to Bradford City.

A combination of heavy snow and frost has left the EBB Stadium pitch unplayable, causing the game to be called-off early.

The postponement denies Aldershot the opportunity to try and make amends for last weekend’s embarrassing 2-0 FA Cup Second Round defeat at Dover Athletic.

The Shots will hope for better luck on December 11 when they are set to head to Rotherham.

‘It is a major disappointment because I wanted to play at home in front of the supporters and put on a performance in front of them, especially after last weekend,’ Dillon told the club’s official website.

‘We will have to plan ahead for the visit to Rotherham United now and see if there is a thaw in the conditions because the snow in Sheffield has been really heavy and it has been one of the hardest hit places in the country.’

Let’s hope he’s not disappointed this weekend too – but I wouldn’t hold out much hope
